Yes, Those Ears Are as Soft as They Look.
Especially the slightly spikey part where her ears meet her head. That's my favorite part of her to touch when we're out walking together.

So adorable! Velvety-looking indeed...
Awwwww.... :o)
What a beautiful girl. Hug her for me, okay?
Those ears look delicious. Give some ear-scritchies from me.
The Van Pelts have incredibly soft fur on their tummies. Oh, how I love to pet it.
Very nice, Lisa.
I haven't been around much lately but I just have to say, I absolutely love your sketches. Gorgeous.
And thanks for posting in the 'ville about the Wolff short stories. I pre-ordered that from Amazon. I'm currently on a self imposed Faulkner reading program and probably wont' get to it until later this year, but it will be something I can look forward to. Kinda like a bottle of fine wine I'm waiting to open.
Slainte!

Jack, nice to see you! You're on a Faulkner run -- cool. There's a bunch of stuff I read in my teens and 20s that I'm feeling the need to reread as an adult, and Faulkner is definitely one author on the list. And yeah, I'm totally looking forward to that Wolff.
Debi, I did hug her, and hugged her again. A sad life lesson, but a good one, is that it's dearly important to let the animals know every single day how much I love them. That goes for everyone in my life, in fact... but pets are easy to fawn over.
All our critters have major winter fur in. I wear it to work on my pants legs too much of the time, but they're awfully soft and nice to pet right now.
Thanks, everyone, for all your nice words about Dorrie. She's a honey.
